Located in Renfrewshire it offers convenient access to nearby  Inverclyde, Argyll and the Isles, all the amenities of Glasgow city centre and of course Glasgow International Airport.


Houston has many amenities within walking distance of the cottages. These include a hairdressers, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, bowling club, newsagents, post office, a horse ridding school, beauticians and two churches (Church of Scotland and RC). Approximately three quarters of a mile away you will find a small supermarket, fish and chip shop, Chinese take away and dry cleaners. If you would like to dine out in Houston there are three pubs within easy walking distance providing food and regular entertainment. The River Inn (approximately three quarters of a mile away) offers excellent meals in a lovely dinning environment.
